Link to Your Public Course Listing Page from Your Website
This article explains which link to use when you want visitors on your own website to browse all of your courses, choose one, and enrol or buy it — without logging in first. It also covers why a course may not appear on that page, how to check what visitors see, and how to add the link to WordPress or sell through WooCommerce or Shopify.
Your public course listing link
Every Coursebox portal has a public course listing page at:
https://<your-subdomain>.coursebox.ai/learning/search
Replace <your-subdomain> with your portal's subdomain — the part before .coursebox.ai in the address you use to log in. For example, a portal at https://myacademy.coursebox.ai has its listing page at https://myacademy.coursebox.ai/learning/search. If you have connected your own domain, use that domain instead, followed by /learning/search.
This page works without logging in. Visitors can browse and search your courses, open one, and click Get Started (Public courses) or Buy Now (Paid courses). They are only asked to sign up or log in at that point, when they enrol or buy.
Why other links land on a login page: links copied while you are logged in — such as your dashboard, My Courses, or a page you reached through the learner view — point to pages that need an account. Visitors who are not logged in are sent to the login page or dashboard instead of your course list. Always use the /learning/search link above for your website.
Which courses appear on the page
A course only appears on the public listing page once it is published and shared as Public or Paid:
Public (publish as open access) — appears, with a Get Started button.
Sell this course (Paid) — appears, with a Buy Now button.
Restricted (publish as private) — does not appear. Restricted courses are for invited learners only.
Draft — does not appear. No learners can access a Draft course.
Seeing “No Courses to show”? This is the most common reason the link seems not to work. It means none of your courses are currently Public or Paid — they are still Restricted or in Draft. Change the access level on each course you want listed (steps below) and the page will fill in.
Make a course appear on the listing page
For each course you want visitors to see:
Open the course and click Share at the top right of the course editor.
Under Access level, choose Public (publish as open access) for a free course, or Sell this course for a paid course and enter the price. Choosing either option publishes the course. Selling needs Stripe, PayPal or Paystack connected first — see Managing Payment with Stripe, PayPal or Paystack.
Optional check: click the settings icon next to Share course to open Share settings, and make sure Hide in search is off and Allow public discovery is on. These are the defaults.
For full details on each access level, see How do I publish my course (Private, Public, or Paid)? and Publish a Course.
Still empty after publishing? A Super Admin can check that public courses are switched on for the portal under Settings → General → Miscellaneous Settings. If public courses are disabled, courses are only available to enrolled learners. See General Settings.
Test the link in an incognito window
When you are logged in to Coursebox, you see your portal as an admin, not as a visitor. To see exactly what your website visitors will see:
Open a private or incognito window in your browser (for example, Ctrl + Shift + N in Chrome on Windows, or Cmd + Shift + N on Mac).
Paste your
/learning/searchlink and open it.Check that every course you want to promote is listed, and that clicking one shows Get Started or Buy Now rather than Request Access.
If a course is missing or shows Request Access, it is still Restricted — change its access level as described above.
Add the link to your WordPress website
The simplest option is to add a button or menu item on your website that points to your /learning/search link.
Menu link: in WordPress, go to Appearance → Menus (or Appearance → Editor → Navigation in block themes), add a Custom Link with your
/learning/searchURL, and give it a label such as “Our Courses”.Button: on any page, add a Button block and paste the same URL as its link.
The same approach works on other website builders such as Wix, Squarespace and Webflow — add a link or button that points to your /learning/search URL.
Sell courses inside WordPress with WooCommerce
If you would rather sell your courses inside your WordPress store, use the Coursebox WooCommerce plugin. Your Coursebox courses are imported as WooCommerce products, and customers are automatically enrolled in the right course as soon as they pay. In short:
Install and activate the Coursebox plugin, with WooCommerce installed and active.
Go to Course Box → Settings and enter your API URL and API Key.
Go to Course Box → Import Courses to bring your courses in as products, then set pricing, categories and tags in WooCommerce.
For the full setup steps and plan requirements, see Integrations - SAML, WordPress, Arlo, SCORM, Zapier, Open API.
Sell courses through Shopify with Zapier
If your store runs on Shopify, you can connect it to Coursebox with Zapier so that a Shopify order grants access to a course automatically. Use the Shopify New Paid Order trigger, then the Coursebox Invite User and Enrol Into Course by Code actions, mapping the customer's email and name from the order.
