Manage the Dashboard

This section explains how Super Administrators can access and configure the overall portal settings. On the course main page, select the dropdown arrow on the top right to reveal the menu, then select Settings.

Branding and Portal Name (Add My Logo / Update My Branding)

This section covers how to add your logo, update your portal name, upload a favicon, and set your email logo — everything needed to white-label your Coursebox platform with your own brand.

Portal Settings

You can set your course theme from the profile menu shown below.

You will see a selection of elements that you can modify:

  1. Portal name: Enter the desired name for your portal. Used in emails, notifications, browsers, etc.

  2. Header Logo: Upload your company logo (white PNG with transparency, min 100px high recommended). This is where you add your logo or change your logo.

  3. Portal Icon / Favicon: Used on apps and browser tabs. Should be in .ico format.

  4. Sharing Image: Appears as a thumbnail when sharing on social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).

  5. Email Logo: PNG file, not smaller than 100px high.

Using the Top Menu HTML

The Top Menu HTML area lets you add a custom, central header menu for desktop viewers using HTML. This allows you to design navigation links that appear at the top of your site.

  • Open the Top Menu HTML editor.

Colour Settings (Change Platform Colours / Update Branding)

The Colour settings allow you to fully customise the visual appearance of your platform and courses. Whether you want to change your platform colours, update your colour scheme, or match your organisation's brand colours, this is where you do it.

Colour settings are grouped into two levels:

  • Portal Colours – control the overall look across the whole platform

  • Course Colours – control how individual courses appear

Tip: Setting colours at the Portal level ensures consistency across all courses.

Option 1: Change Colours via Theme Settings (All Courses)

Remove the “Created with Coursebox” badge / watermark

Full removal of Coursebox branding — including the “Created with Coursebox” badge/watermark shown on the learner or course screen — is part of full white-label branding available on Business & Enterprise plans (your own logo, colours, and custom domain). If you are on a lower plan and still see the badge, upgrading enables complete branding removal.
