How do I manage course themes, logos, and branding?

Plan requirement: Portal branding — logos, colours and fonts — is available on Pro and above. Connecting your own custom domain (Bring Your Own Domain) requires Pro + LMS. Compare plans.

On an earlier plan? Plan names and inclusions changed when we moved to Free, Creator, Pro, Pro + LMS and Enterprise. If you are on an earlier plan, your subscription continues unchanged and you keep everything it included — so you may still see features this article lists under a higher plan. Nothing has been removed from your account.

You can brand Coursebox in three places: Theme Settings for the whole portal, a course’s own Theme for one course, and Auto setup for a new course before you generate it.

Brand your whole portal

  1. Click the dropdown (▼) next to your profile icon and select Theme Settings.

  1. Use the three tabs:

  • General — your portal name, header logo, portal icon, sharing image and email logo.

  • Colors — Portal Colors for the portal around your courses, and Course Colors for the default colours inside courses. Click a swatch or type a HEX code.

  • Font — the font family, heading and body fonts, and type scale.

Change the colours or fonts of one course

  1. Open the course and click Theme (the palette icon) in the top right. In the course editor, click Course settings (the gear icon) instead.

  1. In the window that opens, click Colors to set the course’s primary, background, heading, body text and link colours, and the course overview banner and page colours. Click a colour to change it. Click Font for the course’s fonts and text sizes, and Layout for block width, alignment and spacing.

These colours and fonts apply only to that course and don’t affect your other courses.

Set colours and fonts before you generate a course

When you create a course with AI, click the Auto setup dropdown below the prompt box, choose a saved setup or click + New setup, then open the Theme tab. Click Save as setup to reuse the same branding on every new course — for example, one setup per client. See Course Theme for the full steps.
