Edit Login Screen
Plan requirement: Editing your public pages — home, about, courses, contact and registration — is part of portal branding, available on Pro and above. Compare plans.
On an earlier plan? Plan names and inclusions changed when we moved to Free, Creator, Pro, Pro + LMS and Enterprise. If you are on an earlier plan, your subscription continues unchanged and you keep everything it included — so you may still see features this article lists under a higher plan. Nothing has been removed from your account.
Your public pages are what visitors and learners see before they sign in: Home (with the sign-in form), About, Courses, Contact, Register and Sign in. Super Admins edit them in the login screen editor to introduce the organisation and set the tone before anyone signs in.
Open the login screen editor
In the top navigation bar, click the dropdown (▼) next to your profile icon and select Edit login screen.
Edit a page
Use the Page dropdown at the top to choose the page you want to edit.
Click the pencil icon next to the block you want to change, and edit the text.
Click Save (top right) to publish your changes. Click Return to Portal (top left) when you're done.
These are the blocks you can edit on each page:
Home — a title and a description, next to the sign-in form
About — a title and body text
Courses — a title and subtitle, above the list of your public courses
Contact — a title and body text
Register — a title and a description, next to the registration form
Sign in — the sign-in form only, with no editable blocks
Format text and add media
When you click a pencil icon, the block opens in a text editor. Use its toolbar to change the font, size and colour, add lists, tables and links, insert images or videos, or switch to HTML code view. For a video, paste its URL — for example from YouTube or Vimeo.
Background and login form settings
Click Settings (top right) to change the look of your public pages:
Upload cover background — a background image for all public pages
Show gradient overlay — adds a gradient over the background image
Background color — the background colour for all public pages
Hide login form from home page — removes the sign-in form from the Home page; visitors can still sign in from the Sign in link
To add custom HTML to your portal's header bar and footer, go to Settings → Appearance — see Appearance Settings. Your logo and colours are set in Platform Theme.
