Coursebox Product Roadmap

Our vision

Coursebox is moving toward highly personalised learning, where AI does more than deliver content. The goal is to help each person learn: to understand every learner, adapt to them in real time, give them practice that sticks, and show clear evidence of what is working.

What guides the roadmap

4 principles shape what we build:

  • Highly personalised learning. Every learner gets an experience shaped to their role, their knowledge gaps, their pace, and their history.

  • AI that works alongside your team. Four AI roles support your learners and admins: a Mentor that guides each learner, a Coach that runs practice, an Assessor that evaluates and gives feedback, and an Admin that surfaces insights.

  • Proof that learning works. Every practice session, assessment, and dashboard is built to show you what is working and where learners need support.

  • Two ways to deploy, one intelligence layer. Run Coursebox as your own branded platform, or connect it to the LMS you already use. You get the value either way.

Coming by the end of 2026

  • See how good your course is before you publish it. When a course is generated, an AI instructional designer scores it against what a course on that topic should contain — coverage, assessment quality, practice, structure — and shows you the result with the specific gaps called out and a fix for each. You get a clear read on whether it is ready and what to change, instead of reading the whole thing to find out.

  • Document to course, guided by AI. When you upload your material, the AI reviews it like a senior instructional designer: it explains how it has understood your documents, plans how to use them, and talks through the course with you before building it. When you ask it to follow your document exactly, it accounts for every section and tells you anything it could not place.

  • Courses written in your voice. Set the tone, reading level, and style you want — formal, conversational, technical, or matched to your own existing material — and have every course follow it.

  • Better questions and assessments. Questions that test what the course actually taught, at the right level of difficulty, with feedback that explains why an answer was wrong rather than just marking it.

  • Assessments straight from your documents. Generate a quiz or an exam directly from your uploaded material, without building a whole course first.

  • Agentic AI authoring. Chat with an AI agent at the course level to rearrange pages, build whole sections, and add more source uploads, with content that stays true to your material.

  • An editor you can trust. Reliable saving with a clear saved state, full undo and version history, restore for anything deleted, and hands-on editing for every block type — including scenarios and interactive activities that today can only be regenerated.

  • Better images and visuals. Images that match what the page is actually about, sized and placed properly, with more control over the look of a course and a gallery to reuse what you have.

  • Reuse what you have built. Duplicate a section or a page, move pages between sections, and reuse your best material across your library.

  • New content blocks. More ways to present information, including timelines, flowcharts, comparisons, and charts.

  • Automatic course branding. The AI applies your brand look to a course for you, so it is on brand from the moment it is built.

  • One course, every language, linked together. Build a parent course and nest a version of it in each language underneath. The versions stay linked to the parent, so an update flows through rather than being redone one course at a time, and the whole set exports to SCORM together for your LMS.

  • Certificates issued automatically on completion. Every learner who finishes a course gets a branded certificate without an admin setting it up, ready to post to LinkedIn or send to an employer.

  • Collaborative review and approval. Multiple reviewers suggest edits on a course draft, and admins approve or reject them, much like a shared document. Built for L&D teams that need governance and quality workflows.

  • Deeper assessment and grading in your LMS. Richer per-question grading and assessment records, including which answers were selected and whether they were correct, pushed back into your existing LMS through LTI and SCORM.

  • Richer reporting, dashboards, and learning analytics. Clearer learner and admin dashboards, more complete report exports that include quiz question detail alongside each learner's responses, and deeper insight into how your content performs.

  • Multi-tenant deployment and unified dashboards. Manage many teams, brands, or client organisations from one place, with cross-tenant visibility into learner progress, completion rates, and assessment scores.

  • A more scalable AI credit wallet. Grow your usage without switching plans.

  • Enterprise trust. Enterprise security and compliance, including single sign-on, data residency options, and progress toward ISO 27001 certification.

  • Claude MCP server. Connect Coursebox directly to Claude and the wider AI ecosystem, giving learning designers and admins an integration layer with the tools they already use.

Coming in 2027

  • Agentic Mentor and Assessor. Learner-aware guidance shaped by each person's history and progress, with richer structured assessment and a clear audit trail.

  • Personalised learning at the individual level. Courses that adapt pacing, examples, and emphasis to the actual person, based on what they know and how they are performing.

  • Coach and on-demand micro-learning. Embedded scenario practice and short micro-courses generated on demand from each learner's profile, to close specific gaps.

  • Enhanced AI video. Richer AI video, including more animation and scenario-based formats to support coaching and practice.

  • Learning intelligence. Insight into which content structures and formats drive retention and outcomes across your whole learner population, so every new course benefits from what came before.

Enterprise foundations

These run across everything on the roadmap:

  • Quality scoring on every generation: the score and its specific gaps shown to the creator, so a course reaches publishable standard without a manual review cycle.

  • Per-learner adaptation and outcome evidence: experiences shaped to the individual learner, and clear proof of what they learned.

  • Detailed assessment reporting: per-question assessment records, exports that include question detail alongside each learner's responses, and cross-tenant dashboards for organisations running several portals.

  • ISO 27001, SSO and data residency: the certification path, single sign-on, regional data hosting, and audit logging.

  • WCAG-aligned screen-reader support: every content type navigable and readable end to end, across the learner and admin experience.

  • Linked multi-language courses: parent-and-child language versions that stay in sync and export together, plus full translation of the learner experience.

  • Multi-tenant scale and uptime: multi-tenant deployment, performance, and platform stability.
