What is AI Interactive Scenario?

The AI Interactive Scenario is a new interactive activity type in Coursebox that allows learners to engage with AI-powered role-play and scenario-based learning. Learners can respond to realistic situations and receive intelligent AI feedback, making it ideal for soft skills training, customer service practice, compliance scenarios, and more.

How to Add an AI Interactive Scenario

1. Open your course and navigate to the page where you want to add the scenario.

2. In the course editor, click on the Interactions tab at the bottom of the screen.

1. Select AI Scenario from the menu.

2. The AI Scenario editor will open. Configure the following:

   • Scenario prompt — describe the situation or context the learner will be responding to

   • AI persona — define the role the AI will play (e.g. a customer, a manager, a colleague)

   • Learning objective — what the learner should demonstrate or practise

3. Click Generate to create the scenario. You can regenerate as many times as needed until you're happy with the result. Regenerated scenarios respect the course language, so they continue in the language your course was originally created in (fixed May 2026).

4. Use the toolbar to make any final adjustments, then click Save.

Learner Experience

When a learner reaches an AI Scenario page:

• They are presented with the scenario context

• They select their response in the chat interface

• The AI responds in character and evaluates their reply

• The conversation continues until the scenario is complete

• Learners receive feedback on their performance
