Coursebox Mobile Apps
Coursebox offers two mobile apps, available on both Android and iOS, to support different types of Coursebox users. The app you should download depends on where your courses are hosted and what account you have with Coursebox.
Important: The Coursebox app and the Coursebox LMS app are not interchangeable. Download the app that matches where your course is hosted — logging into the wrong app may prevent access to your courses.
Coursebox app
The Coursebox app is for learners whose courses are hosted on my.coursebox.ai — the shared Coursebox platform. If you signed up directly with Coursebox and access your courses at my.coursebox.ai, this is the app for you.
Coursebox LMS app
Plan requirement: The Coursebox LMS app is for organisations running their own branded LMS, available on Pro + LMS and Enterprise. Compare plans.
On an earlier plan? Plan names and inclusions changed when we moved to Free, Creator, Pro, Pro + LMS and Enterprise. If you are on an earlier plan, your subscription continues unchanged and you keep everything it included — so you may still see features this article lists under a higher plan. Nothing has been removed from your account.
The Coursebox LMS app is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, and is intended specifically for organisations using their own standalone branded LMS.

Searching for your portal in the app: When using the Coursebox LMS app, you must search for your portal using the exact name you set in your theme settings — not your URL. For example, if you named your portal "Acme Learning" in the Theme settings, search for "Acme Learning" in the app. If the portal does not appear, double-check the name under Settings → Theme.
Get your own branded app
As well as the two apps above, you can have a fully branded app of your own. Instead of your learners using the shared Coursebox LMS app and searching for your portal, they download your organisation's own app, with your name and icon, straight from the App Store and Google Play. Coursebox builds and publishes the app for you, so your learning has its own presence on the app stores and learners recognise your brand.
