1. How Coursebox is sold: two channels, one rule

Coursebox is sold through exactly two purchase channels, and the distinction matters for procurement:

If your organisation requires a signed agreement of any kind, Enterprise is the only channel. Master services agreements, vendor risk assessments, security reviews, data processing agreements, custom commercial terms, SLAs and multi-year pricing commitments are available exclusively on Enterprise contracts. Self-serve plans are sold as-is under standard terms and cannot be varied for individual customers, regardless of company size. There is no MSA on any self-serve plan.

2. Why Enterprise

• Built for scale. Enterprise includes a shared, account-wide AI allocation of 25,000 pages, 1,250 images, 180,000 tutor messages, 250 minutes of AI video and 1,500 voice minutes per month. This does not scale with admin seat count; need more, additional capacity is available via credit packs (see Add-ons).

• Your LLM, your rules. Bring your own pre-trained LLM key. Fine-tuning support included free on Enterprise. Data, prompts and outputs stay inside your boundary.

• Contract-grade controls. SSO for admins is available exclusively on Enterprise as a USD $3,000/yr add-on. Hosting defaults to Google Cloud, EU (France), on every Enterprise contract; the Contractual Data Residency add-on (USD $3,000/yr) names your chosen Google Cloud region contractually in your MSA and DPA, is SLA-backed and auditor-answerable, and is available in any Google Cloud region. Branded mobile apps are also a USD $3,000/yr add-on, but that one is available on self-serve Pro too, not Enterprise-exclusive. The full API kit and multi-tenant sub-portals are included in every Enterprise contract.

• Custom everything. Bespoke themes, integrations, features, security requirements and SLAs, contractually committed with delivery dates.

3. How to deploy: embed it, run it, or both

Coursebox is an engine, not another LMS you have to migrate to. Deploy it however fits your stack, and change your mind later without re-signing.

Option A: Embed into your LMS

Keep Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, or your custom LMS. Author in Coursebox, push via SCORM or LTI v1.3, embed AI tutors.

4. Multi-tenant architecture: one account, many portals

Training providers serving multiple clients, franchise networks rolling out programs across regions, consultancies delivering branded learning to different accounts: Coursebox multi-tenancy solves this with a single master portal that provisions and manages independent client portals underneath it. Each client portal runs on its own subdomain and its own database, with its own branding, admins, learners and courses.

How seats and portals work

• Master portal seats are an account-level pool. Your Enterprise seats cover your master portal; each client sub-portal carries its own included admin, with more added per portal as needed.

• Portals are infrastructure. Every Enterprise contract includes your master portal plus 1 bonus client sub-portal, provisioned upon request. Additional client sub-portals are USD $2,000/yr each, a third below an equivalent standalone Pro + LMS instance self-serve. Each client sub-portal is self-contained: its first admin is included, and further admins in that portal are USD $1,000/yr.

What is included on Enterprise

• Master portal, included, running on your Enterprise admin seats (50 included, more at USD $600/yr).

• 1 bonus client sub-portal included, provisioned upon request, on its own subdomain with its own branding, admin team and learner base. First admin included; further admins in the portal USD $1,000/yr.

• Additional client sub-portals at 33.33% off, first admin included, further admins available for purchase at standard rates. Add or retire portals at any time.

• Super Admin access on every client portal at no additional cost.

Multi-tenant pricing examples

Because each client sub-portal is billed on its own, from its own admins, the price of a network depends on how many portals you run and how many admins sit in each one. If your use case is a single organisation training its own workforce, keep everyone in the master portal; you lose nothing and pay nothing extra.

5. Self-serve vs Enterprise: the honest comparison

Live self-serve pricing at coursebox.ai/pricing. Both channels price per admin seat, never per learner or per course. On self-serve Pro, additional admin licences are USD $100/month or $1,000/year each, purchasable in-app by credit card.

• Private, dedicated platform instance: a logically isolated tenant with its own database on our managed Google Cloud infrastructure, hosted in our default EU (France) region, standard daily backups retained 14 days (RPO 24 hours / RTO 12 hours). A contractually named hosting region (any Google Cloud region, named in your MSA and DPA) is available via the Contractual Data Residency add-on; a physically separate database with same-region replicas and point-in-time recovery — tightening recovery targets to RPO under 1 hour / RTO under 4 hours — is available via the Isolated Database add-on (see Add-ons).

7. AI capacity: what's included, and how to add more

Enterprise includes a flat, account-wide AI allocation of 25,000 pages, 1,250 images, 180,000 tutor messages, 250 minutes of AI video and 1,500 voice minutes per month. This allocation does not scale with the number of admin seats on your account. If you need more, burst capacity is available via credit packs (see Add-ons) — for example, the Chatbot credit pack adds 1 million tutor message credits.

8. What the AI does: every stage of training, automated

From authoring to analytics, Coursebox embeds AI across four stages. Re-prompt, rewrite, refresh, without starting over. Course maintenance is a two-click AI job.

• 01 Build: AI course generation. Docs, decks, videos or a prompt in; a complete course out, with quizzes, scenarios and AI presenter videos.

• 02 Deliver: Personalised AI tutor. A chatbot tutor trained on every course. 24/7, in the learner's language, with full history.

• 03 Assess: Automated grading. AI-generated rubrics and scenario assessments. Auto-grade, manual, or hybrid.

• 04 Analyse: Learner analytics. Advanced analytics built in, plus PostHog for product-level insights.

9. Security and compliance

GDPR certified (AQSR, Certificate 17412, valid to June 2028). ISO 27001 in progress, targeted by Q4 2026. Google Cloud hosting, EU (France) default on every Enterprise contract; the Contractual Data Residency add-on names your chosen Google Cloud region contractually in your MSA and DPA. Base Enterprise runs on a logically isolated tenant with its own database (standard backups, RPO 24 hours / RTO 12 hours); the Isolated Database add-on adds same-region replicas and point-in-time recovery for RPO under 1 hour / RTO under 4 hours. SSO for admin access as an Enterprise add-on. Security questionnaires, VAPT results, vendor risk documentation and insurance certificates are provided exclusively as part of Enterprise contracting.

10. Integrations

• LMS and authoring: LTI v1.3 (118 LMSs confirmed), SCORM import/export (~99% coverage), PDF and HTML export, iframe embeds

• Workflow and content: Zapier, Stripe, PayPal, Canva, Google Slides, SurveyMonkey, YouTube, Vimeo

11. Add-ons and extensions (Enterprise contracts only)

All add-ons below are available exclusively on Enterprise contracts. Self-serve plans have exactly two purchasable extras: additional admin seats (USD $100/mo or $1,000/yr each), the LMS add-on (USD $200/mo or $2,000/yr), and branded mobile apps (USD $3,000/yr, self-serve Pro only). Nothing else on this page can be added to a self-serve plan, at any price.

Identity and infrastructure add-ons: USD $3,000/yr each unless noted

• SSO (SAML 2) for admins. Admin sign-in through your identity provider (Azure AD, Okta, Google Workspace). Admin accounts only; learner SSO quoted as a custom scope. Enterprise only; not available on self-serve plans.

• Contractual Data Residency. Your chosen Google Cloud region named contractually in your MSA and DPA, SLA-backed, auditor-answerable, with formal change-notice terms if we ever need to move you. Available in any Google Cloud region (base Enterprise hosting defaults to EU/France). USD $3,000/yr.

• Premium SLA: 99.9% credit-backed uptime, 24/7 P1 response (email/ticketing — no phone support channel), quarterly service reviews (requires multi-node). Recovery targets tighter than the Enterprise-wide default (RPO 24 hours / RTO 12 hours) require the Isolated Database add-on (RPO under 1 hour / RTO under 4 hours).

• 30-day backups. Extended retention beyond the standard 14 days.

• Additional client sub-portals. USD $2,000/yr each beyond the master portal and included bonus portal. Each is a self-contained instance equivalent to Pro + LMS at a third below self-serve pricing: first admin included, further admins in that portal USD $1,000/yr.

• Isolated Database. A physically separate database, dedicated to your account, with same-region replicas and point-in-time recovery (PITR) — tightening recovery targets from the Enterprise-wide default (RPO 24 hours / RTO 12 hours) to RPO under 1 hour / RTO under 4 hours. Prerequisite for Premium SLA's recovery targets. USD $7,000/yr.

Capacity packs: USD $3,000/yr each

Growing your account

• Additional admin seats: USD $600/yr each. Any number, any time. These seats are pooled for your master portal and do not add AI capacity; AI credit allocation is a flat, account-wide amount (see AI capacity above).

Services and custom scopes

• Implementation and onboarding. Guided deployment, SSO configuration, branding setup, admin training and first-course migration.

• Bespoke theme, migration, security, development. Quoted on request with contractual delivery dates.

12. Commercial terms

• Minimum initial term: 2 years. Enterprise is sold exclusively under a signed agreement with a minimum 2-year initial term.

• Billing: annual in advance, by bank transfer, purchase order or card.

• Pricing held for the initial term. Per-seat, per-portal and add-on rates locked for the initial contract.

• Currency: USD standard; local-currency pricing available in selected markets.

• Legal: MSA and DPA review, security questionnaires, vendor risk participation and insurance certificates are included in Enterprise contracting and are not available through any other channel.
